"Is it a buyer's market or a seller's market?" - I'm constantly asked this question. As President of the Warren County Association of Realtors and as the Region Vice-President of the NYS Association of Realtors, I've had the opportunity to attend meetings with some of the nation's brightest economists in Albany and D.C. over the last year. Real Estate is a "local business". Ignore the national news and ask questions where you intend to buy or sell. As a professional leader, I'm up to date! The answer to the question above in the Lake George and Adirondack regions is "neither". We are experiencing a normal (pre boom) market. Accurately priced properties will sell providing the seller a fair price and the buyer a fair deal.

Lake George waterfront inventory is at a record high. Gore Mountain property availability is also at a record high. Mortgage interest rates are among the lowest in the last 30 years. Don't be distracted by the sub-prime controversy. Qualified buyers always obtain good rates! Prices in these desirable areas will not plummet and values are still increasing annually. If you don't like the asking price - we'll negotiate it.
There's lots of excitement around North Creek
The long awaited expansion of Gore Mountain to include the North Creek Ski Bowl is finally a reality. The expansion is fully approved. Read the most up to date news. Bolstered by this expansion, there are two exciting residential developments in progress; Ski Bowl Village at Gore Mountain will offer ski on/ski off homes and hotels. Clearly this will be the premier address and the hub of activity. Top Ridge, located less than 1 mile from the Gore Mountain access road, is a townhouse development offering fine Adirondack craftsmanship and views of Gore. There are many affordable building lots available just a few minutes further away.
