North Creek Happenings
It has been a busy couple of weeks in North Creek as we approach the biggest holiday week of the winter season. Skiing returns to the historic North Creek Ski Bowl tomorrow (12/21). The Village Chair, a new fixed grip triple, will open following an official "cutting of the red tape" ceremony at 3:30pm. The public and media are encouraged to attend.
Just south of my office, the vacant building that formerly housed a failed restaurant across from Stewart's is once again open. Kelly O's opened last Friday and has been busy ever since. Stop in for a drink and dinner when you visit. Owners Kelly and Angela are open to suggestions and comments and have already made quick adjustments in response to local reactions to their menu during the first week. It's refreshing to see a responsive owner in this restaurant.
